Is DevSmith Tools really free?
Yes! All tools on DevSmith Tools are 100% free to use with no account required, no usage limits, and no hidden fees. We believe developer tools should be accessible to everyone.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your data — code snippets, passwords, tokens, or any other input — never leaves your machine. We have no servers that receive or store your tool inputs.
Does it work offline?
Since all processing happens in your browser, many tools will continue to work after the initial page load even without an internet connection. However, you'll need a connection to navigate between pages.
Can I use these tools for commercial projects?
Yes! There are no restrictions on using DevSmith Tools for commercial or personal projects. Format your production JSON, generate UUIDs for your database, test your regex patterns — use them however you need.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
